Auxora Intros 50GHz Tunable Filter

Auxora Inc, a leading provider of optical thin film filter (TFF) related products, today announced the 50GHz channel spaced DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) tunable filter chips. The 50GHz tunable filter provides a feature to enable the extraction of a wavelength from any one of up to 96 DWDM channels by changing the input light angle to the filter. "With emerging 40Gb/s and 100Gb/s next generation optical systems, as well as wider use of ROADM's (Reconfigurable Optical Add/drop Module) in networks, the optical tunable filter will play an important role as a good solution for next generation OPM (Optical Performance Monitor) to measure the channel power and OSNR (Optical Signal to Noise Ratio) more accurately", said Jinghui Li, President at Auxora.
