AFOP Intros 100G Cable Assembly

March 4, 2011 –Alliance Fiber Optic Products, Inc. (AFOP) announces the release of a new series of 24-fiber MTP/MPO cable assemblies to accommodate 100G Ethernet. It is designed specifically to meet the latest IEEE 802ba requirements supporting transmission rates up to 100G with laser-optimized 50um OM3 or OM4 multimode fiber. AFOP’s 100G MTP/MPO cable assemblies are highly reliable. In addition to the 24 channel cable assemblies, AFOP also offers versions in 8 and 12 channels and fan outs supporting LC, SC, and other single channel connectors.
