ADVA Optical Networking announced today that Global Net Access (GNAX), a leading provider of data center services, colocation, cloud computing and managed hosting in the U.S., has deployed the ADVA FSP 3000 to upgrade its connection from its Atlanta NAP data center to a Telx interconnection facility. This connection upgrade will provide GNAX’s customers with even higher bandwidth access, up to 160 gigabytes, to hundreds of domestic and international carriers, in addition to low-latency connections to financial exchanges and media application providers. The ADVA FSP 3000’s protection and redundancy capabilities ensure that GNAX will be able to offer its customers strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for mission-critical applications.

“ADVA Optical Networking is a company that understands the importance of relationships,” said William Souder, vice president, engineering and online operations at GNAX. “We’ve been working with them for many months now and the level of expertise and understanding they display is exceptional. From inception to lab testing to actual deployment, their team worked tirelessly to ensure that we exceeded our customers’ expectations. We can now provide our customers with access to a whole range of new services. What’s more, we now have a network that grows at the same pace as our customers’ needs.”
